Meet the Team at Bon Appétit Restaurant

 

Christian Schrangl, Manager

 

Christian was born and raised in Austria, has over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and is one of the Front House Managers at Bon Appétit. After he completed his studies in Restaurant and Hotel Management, Christian decided he wanted to see more of the world. He began his hospitality career aboard cruise ships, managing Restaurant and Hotel operations. In 2002, Christian married his wife Penny and decided to trade the high seas for a home base in Port Richey, FL. When he’s not at Bon Appétit ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience, he enjoys spending time outdoors, at the beach or traveling overseas.

Nancy Williams, Special Events Manager

 

Nancy Williams is the Wedding and Special Events Manager and the one who will help you achieve your wedding vision. She has been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years, engaging in every aspect of food and beverage, and has been with the Bon Appétit Group℠ since 2002. Nancy brings experience in private social and membership golf clubs and catering. She especially enjoys working with brides and grooms to ensure that all the finer details are in place and their special day is truly one to remember. Nancy coordinates our yearly waterfront bridal showcases with local professional wedding vendors to make sure the brides receive only the best the industry has to offer. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys family genealogy, gardening, reupholstering, cooking and baking. You can find her at the local thrift store turning someone’s junk into another person’s treasure.

Alberto Santos, Banquet Manager

 

Alberto Santos, originally from Mexico, has been with Bon Appetit for over 30 years. He began in the kitchen and worked his way up to Bon Appétit Restaurant’s banquet captain. As banquet captain, Alberto transforms your special requests into an event that runs efficiently. When he isn’t working on special events, he helps run the restaurant during regular hours to make your dining experience run as smoothly as a special event at Bon Appétit. Alberto is an avid cycler and member of a bicycle club. If you see him on the road, be sure to wave.

Ellen Hale, Concierge for Bon Appétit Group

 

Ellen Hale has served Bon Appétit Group in a variety of roles since she first joined the team in 2005. A valued communicator, Ellen is the designated staff liaison for a number of organizations. For more than a decade she has held the BNI Success Alliance’s Event Venue Seat and has recently been named to the board of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of VisitDunedin, Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association, AMPLIFY Clearwater, the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, and Skål Tampa Bay. Hailing from New Jersey, she regales us with tales of her travels – both foreign and domestic. This summer she traveled to Chicago, New Orleans, and New York City! A University of Wisconsin alum, Ellen makes her alma mater proud as a shining star in the hospitality industry and a leader among her peers.
