Smoking

Is there a smoking area at the restaurant?

The outside bar and terrace are non-smoking. For your convenience a “smoking oasis” is available to the east side of our waterfront bar.

What time does the sun set?

Reservations

Do I need to make reservations?

Reservations are not required, but we do recommend them for indoor dining. Seating on the outside terrace and bar are on a first come, first served basis, weather permitting.

We will make a note of the request and be happy to seat you at the best table we have available upon your arrival. The gulf views can be seen from every seat in our restaurant. You won’t miss a thing!

Do you accept group reservations?

For groups of 8 or more, submit your request here. If your group is a larger celebration, Contact Us for menus and pricing.

Attire

Is there a dress code?

We recommend resort casual. The setting and views are so gorgeous; you’ll feel like you’re at a resort when you’re here!

Entertainment

When is there live music?

Outside weather permitting, live entertainment is available Thursday through Sunday evenings for terrace and waterfront bar patrons. Outside entertainment includes a variety of musicians with guitar, steel drums, keyboards, etc.

Inside the restaurant, our talented pianists, Kathy Roberts and Newton Beardsley, play popular tunes Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 pm to close and Sundays 11:30 am to 4 pm.

Accessibility

What provisions are there for people with special needs?

We have an accessible entrance, just steps from the front door, via a side door that leads to the dining room. We are fully compliant with ADA regulations regarding accessibility and often handle guests with canes, walkers, wheelchairs, & electric scooters. We have both high chairs and slings for car & carriage baby seats.

Gift Cards

What amounts are gift cards sold in?

Gift cards can be purchased for any amount and are reloadable so you can keep the happiness coming! They are also ideal for employee and business gifts and can be ordered in bulk.

Gift cards can be redeemed at Bon Appétit Restaurant or Café Alfresco. Both are owned by our parent company, the Bon Appétit Group℠, founded and headquartered here in Dunedin, FL.

Do you have on site parking?

Bon Appétit Restaurant offers on site parking at the paved parking lot directly east of the restaurant.

Pets

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, like much of Dunedin we are pet friendly. We allow dogs to accompany their owners at our outside waterfront terrace. Please review the City of Dunedin’s doggy dining rules, here.

Wi-Fi

Do you have wireless Internet access?

We provide complimentary Wi-Fi throughout our property.

Boat Docking & Marina

Can we dock our boat while dining at the restaurant?

Yes! The City of Dunedin’s Municipal Pier extends directly to the south of Bon Appétit Restaurant. There are 7 complimentary dock slips open to the public for daily use. Overnight accommodations are available through the city’s harbormaster. Call 727.298.3030 for more information or go here.

We no longer own the hotel but provide many meals for their guests and maintain a strong working relationship with the owners.
