Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complies with quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
  • Must be available to work any days and hours to meet business needs.
  • Prepares garnishes for broiled and roasted dishes.
  • Sets up and maintain soups throughout the day, as well as appropriate garnishes.
  • Roasts, carves and plates meats, poultry, shellfish, fish, and vegetables.
  • Maintains a sanitary work environment in areas where food is prepared and stored.
  • Performs any other task that is assigned for the successful operations of the company.

Education and/or Experience:

High School graduate(GED), degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is desirable. Minimum of one year in a food preparation position in a high volume restaurant setting.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and understand simple verbal instructions.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to managers, co-workers and dining room staff; stand and walk in kitchen for periods over 8 hours; lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight; possess finger dexterity to use small tools adeptly; read and follow written instructions; possess good smell and taste abilities and be able to do repetitive motions. Bartender Summary

Prepare, mix and serve drinks and beverages correctly to either customers directly or through serving staff.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and present menus make recommendations and answer all related inquiries.
  • Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age. Take orders from serving staff or directly from customers, record drink orders accurately into register system.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes. Peel, slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
  • Serve food to customers seated at the bar, respond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional fashion.
  • Attempt to limit problems related to customers’ excessive drinking by following established procedures. Process transactions using the POS system.
  • Process customer payments. Arrange glasses and bottles into attractive and functional displays. Ensure clean glasses, bar equipment and working areas, comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
  • Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift, order and restock bar inventory.
  • Performs any other task that is assigned for the successful operations of the company.
  • Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
  • Working knowledge of standard drink recipes, working knowledge of bar equipment and cash-handling skills.

Education and Experience

High School graduate or GED. Previous experience in fine dining on a cruise ship is desirable.

Fine Dining Server Job Summary

Responsible for providing pleasant, quick and efficient service to our guests. Take food and drink orders, deliver check promptly after meal and inform guests of payment procedures. Must have open availability to work all shifts to accommodate business needs. Our experienced talented servers average $30 to $40 dollars per hour including tips during peak hours.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Greets guests with eye contact and a smile within 60 seconds after their arrival at table.
  • Recites the featured items in ” sales language” to entice guests to purchase.
  • Offers specific menu items after probing for guest’s preferences.
  • Checks for timing requirements of orders and relays same to all concerned parties – Bar, Kitchen.
  • Knows restaurants product – Food items, price ranges, and services.
  • Delivers food promptly and correctly place it to guest who ordered it.
  • Constantly monitor guests at his/her station to detect if further services are needed.
  • Practices the “3 A’s (Acknowledge, Apologize, Act) regarding guest complaints.
  • Offers specific deserts and after dinner beverages, such as coffee, tea, brandy, or cordials.
  • Prepares check promptly, verifies it’s accurate, informs the guest of payment procedures.
  •  Thank the guests for their visit, says goodbye, inviting them to return again.
  • Keeps station and work areas neat, clean and takes part in sharing team duties (side stand, etc.).
  • Practices people skills by extending friendly service and cooperation to guests and fellow teammates.
  • Performs any other task that is assigned for the successful operations of the company.

Education and Experience
